With more than two decades of experience in film production and a background in cinematography, his work combines performance, visual storytelling and cinematic scale.
He is drawn to strong concepts, characters under pressure and stories with a clear emotional core. From intimate human moments to larger, visually ambitious productions.
Background
I’ve spent more than two decades working across film production, first building my craft through camera and cinematography before moving increasingly toward directing.
That path gave me a practical understanding of how creative ambition translates to set: what a performance needs, where a camera should be, how a location can carry a scene and when restraint is more powerful than scale.
Over the years I’ve worked across commercials, branded content, fiction, documentary and music-driven projects, collaborating with agencies, production companies, brands, producers, actors and crews on productions of very different sizes.
Today, directing is at the centre of my work.
DIRECTING
Story first. Scale where it matters. Scale is not simply a question of budget.
It can come from performance, atmosphere, movement, sound, a location or a single image. What matters is that every creative choice is pushing the same story forward.
I like to become involved early, while there is still room to shape the material. From treatment and dramatic structure to casting, performance and visual language.
By the time the camera rolls, the direction should be clear enough that cast and crew are working toward the same film, while still leaving space for instinct and unexpected moments on set.
The goal is not simply to make something look cinematic. It is to make the story feel inevitable in the way it is told.
